I have Remote Desktop Manager Standard 5.5.0.3 installed on a dual screen desktop (Windows XP SP3). I suppose it would be easier if all the processes where running as services but that's just not the case here. All we have to do is simply start the server, login (locally not rdp) and lock the session. Like many of you I'm sure, I don't head into the server room everytime I need to login to a server. software is freeware, the price is free, you can free download and get a fully functional freeware version of Remote Desktop Load Simulation Tools. However with Server 2003 (or any server version for that matter) logins and RDP sessions can be multiple. So in a sense, what you see is what you get with an XP worksation.
What I've noticed is that if you RDP to an XP workstation, there only seems to be one session active. Please forgive the noob question but I'm trying to get my head around Remote Desktop in a server environment.
